Convention

I don't know if this is the proper place to mention this but I didn't know about the chat until now. My concern is: why are the Democrats having a meeting at the convention with those who declare a faith or religion to the exclusion of those who profess neither? I have been a Democrat for 60 years since before voting age and I have never heard of anything like it. My Democratic inspiration comes from they being the voice of the little guy and keeping religion at arms length to protect the separation declared in the Constitution. This is nothing more than pandering to evangelicans in the manner of McCain. The party has me by the short hairs because I could never vote to keep these assh*les in office. I also feel betrayed. The Democratic leaders could f*ck up a two car parade. They have a chance to run the table and they are screwing it up. This isn't the time to start a religion and secular war. But they will.
